About Us

Keith Turnbull has been a professional software developer since 1996.

He got his start developing custom software solutions for Hawthorne Communications, an innovater in Long Form advertising.

From there he moved in to the insurance realm working for Eastbridge Technologies where he spearheaded their move from a fat client based software to a thin client browser based client that prototyped many of the technologies that are prevelant in web 2.0 style sites today, such as ajax style transactions and dynamic javascript based User Interface elements.

A brief stint working as a staff consultant to Pioneer Seed corn followed where he put his biology and computer skills to use parsing DNA sequencing files and improving the run time from several hours down to under one hour.

Keith’s most recent career stop has been at Progressive Insurance. He has been there since 2001 and has worked in a variety of roles. He has done a number of projects and process improvements and spends most of his time now doing software architecture and developer mentoring.
